TAS 062 : 5 Productivity Tips To Help Build Your Amazon Business And Improve Your LIFE

In this episode of The Amazing Seller Podcast we will discuss 5 Tips To Improve Your Productivity to Help Build Your Amazon Business and Your Life.

As an entrepreneur it becomes harder to get things done and not get distracted. It's also hard if you have limited time to work on your business or anything for that matter. That's why I decided to talk about what I'm working on in myself to help become more focused and productive.

Here's the 5 steps we'll discuss:

1. Create Your Plan (Goals) – Paper
2. Chunking It Down (Projects or Buckets)
3. Action Steps For Tasks – Detailed
4. Deadlines – Forces You To take Action
5. Commit for 30 Days (1 Hr per Day) – Habits

I've been listening to a podcast called “Kate's Take” and it has really opened my eyes to how important it is to create systems and processes to help organize your time.  I'm a HUGE fan of hers and would recommend her podcast to all my friends and anyone that needs help in organizing their time.

Quick Favor: If you visit her blog…leave a comment and tell her that Scott from The Amazing Seller Podcast sent you. She's doesn't really know who I am..YET, but would love to have her on the show 🙂

Click Here to visit her blog and read her recent post that inspired me.

I was also inspired by an Audio Book I'm currently listening to called “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy. This is a great book and I plan to listen to it every other month to make sure I stay on course.

I really enjoy learning about this stuff and plan to share more in the future.

Leave a comment below and let me know if you are going to follow The Compound Effect in your LIFE.

You may also want to listen to a recent podcast I recorded about What It Takes To Become an Entrepreneur. It goes along with this episode and understanding the steps and mindset in this journey.

Wow! Content heavy episode. I like that. I will have to relisten and take good notes and follow through with the ideas.

    I use http://anti-social.cc/
It blocks websites you want it to for a set amount of time so you can’t access them until the timer is up (or you restart your computer).

Scott, I loved this episode! Great topic. You said to make a comment of things that have helped us. Well there is a book that I feel every entrepreneur/ wantntrepreneur should read, it’s helped me. It’s one of the easiest reads too. The book is put into chunks, so even after you read it you can go back and read a specific subject. The book is called “Rework” by Jason Fried. One section I think ALL wantntrepreneurs should read is “no time no excuse” page 40.

Anyways, that’s my little nudge for the day 😉

Love what you’re doing, keep it up!

Hey Scott, great episode. It really helps to think about chunking things down into very small steps. I like the book Mini-Habits by Stephen Guise. Right along the same lines as the Compound Factor, which I will also read.

Also – maybe MSU_DDS = Michigan State University_Doctor of Dental Surgery (dentist?) lol
